BATHURST, N.B. – Three Prince Edward Islanders made huge contributions to their teams in a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game on Friday night.
Forward Jeremy McKenna of Summerside continued to produce offensively, scoring a goal and assisting on another in regulation time, and then netting the lone goal of the shootout to give the Moncton Wildcats a 4-3 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
McKenna, who has nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points in 15 regular-season games, moved into a tie with Rimouski’s Dmitry Zavgordodniy (10-16) atop the league scoring race.

Titan defenceman Noah Dobson of Summerside also had a goal and an assist while Moncton rookie blue-liner Jordan Spence of Cornwall was a plus-1 and named the game’s second star.
Dobson has four goals and five assists for nine points in 12 games while Spence, who played with the Summerside Western Capitals’ junior A team last season, has two goals and 11 assists for 13 points in 15 contests.
