MONCTON, N.B. – Moncton Wildcats forward Jeremy McKenna of Summerside had a big night Thursday.
McKenna scored twice, his seventh and eighth goals of the regular season, and chipped in with an assist for a three-point night in helping the Wildcats to a 5-2 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
McKenna went into Friday night’s action with 24 points in 14 games.
Rookie Wildcats defenceman Jordan Spence of Cornwall also earned an assist to give him 13 points, including two goals, in 14 contests.
