KENSINGTON – The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers are back on home ice Sunday.
The Vipers will host the Sherwood-Parkdale A&S Scrap Metal Metros in an Island Junior Hockey League contest at Credit Union Centre. Puck drop is 7 p.m.

Both teams come in off wins in their regular-season openers. The Vipers won a tight 2-1 effort over arch rival Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings on Sunday, and the Metros overcame a 4-1 third-period deficit to defeat the Eastern Maniacs 6-4. Caleb Coyle was excellent between the pipes in the Vipers’ win, and will get the start against the Metros.
