ABRAM-VILLAGE – The Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings will host their home opener on Sunday.

The Island Junior Hockey League champions will be opposed by the Cap-Pelé Predators in an interlocking game with the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League.
Fans are asked to note the opening faceoff at the Evangeline Recreation Centre is set for 2:15 p.m.

The Red Wings will be looking to get into the win column and even their record at 1-1 (won-lost) after dropping a 2-1 road decision to arch-rival Kensington Plumbing and Heating Vipers on Sunday.
In other league action this weekend, the Eastern Maniacs (0-1) host Kent, N.B., in Souris on Saturday at 7 p.m., and the Sherwood-Parkdale A&S Scrap Metal Metros (1-0) travel to Kensington to take on the Vipers (1-0) on Sunday at 7 p.m.
