SUMMERSIDE – Paige Deighan earned three assists to spark the Western Wind to a 5-1 win over the Mid-Isle Wildcats in the P.E.I. Midget AAA Female Hockey League at Credit Union Place on Thursday night.
Hilarie Gaudet (2), Emma Dyer, Gracyn Handrahan and Kylie Campbell found the back of the net for the Wind. Kyrsten Coyle (2) and Keira MacKendrick also contributed assists.
Carla Stewart, assisted by Emma Langley and Claire Pickens, netted the Wildcats’ lone goal.
