Growing up, my parents cautioned me about wishing my life away; they warned me that time would go by very quickly as I got older. As usual, they were right.
Three years ago this week, I embarked on my new journey with SaltWire Network. I embraced the challenges that accompanied the transition. Of course, I continued to track, analyze, and forecast the weather to prepare my maps and charts for the daily videos but the print offering added another interesting layer to my daily duties.
Each week, from Monday to Saturday, you’ll find a detailed weather synopsis under a seven-day forecast board, a regional map with highs and lows, sun and moon rise and set times as well as local tide charts. In addition to those daily offerings, I answer your weather questions in my Weather University columns, share some of your stories and Grandma wisdom.
During the holidays, the weather page looked a little different. With time off that needed to be used up, I decided to populate the weather page with your seasonal pet pics. Well, the response was overwhelming, not to mention adorable.
That made me wonder what it is you want to see on “your” weather page? Snapshots, weather explainers, weather lore, more of one thing, less of another? I’m open to suggestions – within reason of course.
Please send your suggestions to [email protected]
I’ll share the results with you, right here, later this month.
