Right now, there is no place like home, but if you were to cross the Atlantic, this sign atop Signal Hills in St. John’s N.L. could help with directions and distances to Paris, London and Moscow.
When Gary Mitchell snapped the photo, he noticed that the sign had been damaged by the 150 km/h winds last January.
Gary says, perhaps a little tongue and cheek: “the winds on Signal Hill have blown the feathers clean off seagulls who live on the cliffs”.
