CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: The ancient sound of bagpipes and a spectacular Fundy scene

What a sight! And if you close your eyes, you can almost hear the skirl of the pipes echoing off the waters of the Bay of Fundy. Phil Vogler came across this lone piper one cloudless day and not wanting to disturb him, took this amazing photo from behind. Bagpipes have been around for a very long time; people believe that the shepherds invented bagpipes. The Bible mentioned them too however, many historians agree that the bagpipes were invented in Sumeria. Sumeria is part of the old Mesopotamian village that lived during 2,000 BC which is now present-day Iraq. - Contributed
