Have you ever seen a beaver up close? Well, you don’t have to venture off into the deep forest to find one, at least Gail Coolen didn’t.
Gail and her husband live along the Sackville River in Bedford, N.S. One morning, her husband was looking out the window and noticed a beaver. He had come up from the river and was chewing on a tree next to the parking lot. The beaver seemed to be in no hurry to leave so they went outside and took some photos. Gail says she was just a few feet away from the industrious rodent.
