Now that the nice weather is finally here, it's so enjoyable to get out and explore.
Don Cassidy went for a stroll with his camera last Monday – Victoria Day – and came across this majestic Blue Heron. He spotted the almost prehistoric-looking bird near Malpeque Bay, P.E.I.
While great blue herons are large wading birds, they usually sleep in trees at night, to get them off the ground where land-dwelling predators might catch them off guard.
