Warm now, soon to be very wet for some

A strengthening south wind ahead of an advancing cold front will serve up mid-summer–like weather for a day or two. Morning coastal fog will be widespread and humidex readings will soar into the low thirties. That slow-moving front is expected to stall over western regions for the Maritimes; some of us could get 80 mm of rain by the end of the Thursday.
