PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND: Nor’easter out, high pressure in … briefly

The nor’easter that brought snowy conditions to parts of the Maritimes yesterday is leaving behind some on-shore snow for Prince Edward Island, northeastern Nova Scotia and western Cape Breton, and bringing a messy mix of weather to Newfoundland and Labrador. On Saturday, an area of high pressure slides in from the west bringing fairer conditions across the region, but yet another weather-maker is waiting in the wings for early next week.
