PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND: A traffic jam in the atmosphere

A blocking pattern is creating a very unusual weather flow. Instead of moving from west to east, the next line of snow to rain will back in from the east. Parts of the region will get 10 to 20 mm of rain while snowfall totals will light with 2 to 4 for PEI and 5 to 10 cm across northern New Brunswick. The raw northeasterly wind will intensify tomorrow to Thursday – also from east to west. The cycle of cool, damp weather is expected to break this weekend!
