SUMMERSIDE: Summer in the sun, winter in the shade
The March sun is lovely but it’s accompanied by a fresh north wind so it’s quite a struggle to get to the mid-single digits, which is where we should be at the end of March. We’re about to trade in that wind for a much milder southerly circulation thanks to an approaching warm front. The front will bring more clouds by Friday and even a few showers. The trade-off, however, seems fair as we can expect double-digit highs this weekend. The strong south wind will veer to the west early next week as a cold front crosses the Island. Too soon to say if there’s any snow behind it, but it will certainly be cooler.
