As the cold high drifts eastward, the icy north wind is slowly being replaced by a light breeze. The May sun will work its magic today and highs will climb to the mid and even upper teens across the Maritimes and western Labrador! You’ll have to wait another day for the magic to reach Newfoundland. The next system on the radar is an advancing area of low pressure that will bring rain tonight and Friday into western New Brunswick and western and central Nova Scotia. The high will block that rain from reaching the eastern regions. We’ll get back to sunshine for the start of the last weekend of the month.
