SUMMERSIDE: A little white, a lot of cold and a messy storm on Sunday!

As the powerful nor’easter pulls east of Newfoundland, a couple minor disturbances will track across the province. The first rolls in Wednesday night with a few centimetre of snow followed by a rush of very cold air. Not far behind it, another fast moving disturbance will bring 3 to 5 cm of snow late Friday into Saturday. Again, behind the system, a brief pocket of cold. The parade of systems will crescendo late Sunday with a powerful storm expected to bring close to 15 cm of snow before the changeover to rain across the Island. Falling temperatures will bring the rain back to snow as the system pulls away…Messy start to the week!
