SUMMERSIDE: Old man winter is still in town!
While many of us continue to deal with wet shoes and stinky dogs, it’s more about ice picks and shovels in parts of our region. An arctic high parked over western Labrador is pumping cold air into the top of the parade of rainmakers. Today’s 10-15 cm snowfall across central and eastern Newfoundland will wrap up this evening but the break between systems will be brief. Another 10 -15 cm event will get started midday Thursday afternoon and pull out Friday morning. The next system will track farther north and bring milder temperatures and rain from west this east this weekend.
