SUMMERSIDE: Just enough time for the shoes to dry out

The narrow ridge of high pressure responsible for the pleasant end to the week is not going to linger into the weekend. A rapidly intensifying system tracking up the Ohio Valley will push more rain across the province on Saturday. Rainfall totals won’t be excessive but the wind will be strong – from the southeast with gusts to 60 km/h. Sunday will be a lovely day with a mix of sun and cloud and seasonal temperatures. Cooler weather returns next week thanks to a persistent north wind.
