KENSINGTON – The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild is offering the opportunity for a young minor hockey player to join the team for a road trip.

The Wild is hosting the Notre Dame Argos from Wilcox, Sask., in an exhibition game at Credit Union Centre in Kensington on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Minor hockey players who wear their team jersey to Tuesday’s game will receive a ballot for a draw that will take place during the game. One name will be selected, and that individual, along with a parent/guardian, will win the opportunity to travel with the Wild to New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League team game this season.
The Argos are in the Atlantic region for the Monctonian tournament, which begins on Thursday. The Wild, who have won seven league games in a row, is also taking part in the tournament.
Kensington is in second place at 12-2-1 (won-lost-overtime losses), three points behind the league-leading Moncton Flyers (14-1-0).
