KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — For the third time this season, the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild let a third-period lead slip away on home ice.

After losing 4-3 to Fredericton on Sept. 28 and 3-2 to Moncton on Oct. 12, the Northern Moose rallied for a 5-4 overtime win over the Wild at Credit Union Centre on Saturday night.
Justin David’s second goal of the game 32 seconds into the extra five-minute period lifted the Moose to the victory. Jonathan Fontaine’s power-play goal 5:12 into the third period tied the game 4-4.
Jesse Chamberlain netted the other two goals for Northern, which upped its record to 5-2-1 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Austin Arsenault (1-2), Alex Graham, Kalib Snow and Landon Clow countered for the Wild (5-2-2). Crosby Andrews (2) and Donovan Arsenault assisted.
The Bathurst, N.B.-based Moose led 1-0 after the first period and the Wild took a 4-3 advantage into the second intermission.
The Moose outshot the Wild 42-36. Winning goaltender was Pierre-Vincent Guignard and Josh Smith took the loss.
The Wild visits the Fredericton Caps (4-5-0) on Sunday afternoon.
