SUMMERSIDE – The Western Wind topped the Central Storm 5-2 in a penalty-filled P.E.I. Midget AAA Female Hockey League game at Credit Union Place on Thursday night.

Overall, the teams combined for 28 penalties.
Paige Deighan (2), Gracyn Handrahan, Emma Dyer and Tianna Gallant scored for the Summerside-based Wind. Kylie Campbell, Hilarie Gaudet and Cailin Gaudet added assists.
For the Charlottetown-based Storm, Chloe McCabe and Kayla MacIsaac found the back of the net, with Jessica Turbide, Jessie Campbell and Meagan Batchilder contributing single helpers.
Talynn Banks picked up the goaltending win.
