CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The Western Regals scored six times over the final two periods and doubled the Kings County Kings 8-4 in P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League action Saturday in Alberton.

Chase Gaudette (1-3), Kalim DesRoches and Carter Cahill (1-1) scored in the second frame, then James Doyle (1-2), Sam Hackett (1-1) and Ethan Oliver tallied in the third.

DesRoches also scored in the first period along with Alex Hutchinson (1-1). DesRoches chipped in two assists for a four-point game. Chandler DesRoches also recorded two helpers.

Owen MacNeil (2-1) and Jack King (2) netted the Kings Count markers.

Cole Gallant earned the goaltending win over Ben Bruce.

Western led 2-1 after the first and 5-3 at the second intermission, and went 2-for-5 on the power play. Kings County was 2-for-8 with the extra man.
