ABRAM-VILLAGE, P.E.I. — Silas Handrahan and Kennedy Gallant each had two assists Sunday to pace the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers to a 4-1 win over the Arsenault's Fish Mart Western Red Wings.
With the win, the Red Wings (14-2-0) increased their lead atop the Island Junior Hockey League standings to 10 points over the second-place Vipers (9-7-0).
Austin Arsenault, Alex Morrissey, Connor Morrissey and Bradley Campbell scored in the win at the Evangeline Recreation Centre. Ethan Beaulieu and Isaac Callaghan each chipped in an assist.
Blake Gallant from Dawson MacCormack replied for Kensington.
Stephan Giansante stopped 28 shots for the win while Jonah Arbing faced 44 shots in the loss.
After a scoreless first period, the Red Wings took a 2-0 lead to the third period.
