SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside United and Stratford played to a scoreless draw in a Subway P.E.I. Under-13 Girls Soccer League (Premier Division) game at Eric Johnston Field on Saturday morning.
Madelyn MacPherson of the United, and Stratford’s Abby Larkin recorded shutouts.
The game featured some great back-and-forth battles, some quality shots and tough saves by the keepers of each team.
Boys
In boys’ under-13 First Division action, visiting Sherwood-Parkdale edged Kensington 1-0 recently.
Connor Masher scored the game’s lone goal in the 50th minute.
