SYDNEY, N.S. — For only the second time this season, stock car racing will be on offer at Sydney Speedway this weekend.

Racing is set to take place at the Sydney-Glace Bay Highway facility on Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m.

The schedule includes races in the Bandoleros (twin 12s), Legends (twin 25s), Mini Stocks (twin 25s), Sportsman (35-50 laps, depending on car count) and Street Stock (35-50 laps, depending on car count) divisions.

For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, Sydney Speedway staff is working to have the grandstands open, all while following the provincial guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19. The pit side will be limited to 250 crew members and fans.
