NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. — Woodmere Stealdeal has raced at five different tracks in the Maritimes this year and still can’t be beat.

The freshman pacer is nine for nine lifetime after capturing the Nova Scotia Stake for two-year-old pacing colts in 1:57 during a 12-race card held Saturday afternoon at Northside Downs in North Sydney.

Marc Campbell, who piloted Woodmere Stealdeal, led all drivers on the afternoon with four wins.

Along with Woodmere Stealdeal, Campbell recorded wins aboard Avajeanski in a new mark of 1:59.2, QTS Charlie in 1:59.3, and Classic Smiley, her third win in a row, also in 1:59.3.

A pair of Atlantic Sire Stakes divisions for two-year-old pacing fillies went to Little Miss Ava for Myles Heffernan and owner Jackie Heffernan in 1:59.2, and Tobins Brownie for driver David Dowling and owners James Quinn, Carl Peterson and Amy Lakie in 1:58.2.

Dowling picked up three wins on the day. Along with Tobins Brownie, he also claimed victories with Dragon Teeth in 1:59.2, Best To Hurst in 1:57.2, holding off Sly Baran by a neck, with Runaway Mystery in third, a length-and-a-half back of the winner.
