PETITCODIAC, N.B. — The Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame plans to expand its multi-purpose facility in Petitcodiac, N.B.

The expansion will include a large banquet room on site, capable of hosting larger functions including the annual hall of fame induction ceremony. The expansion will also provide extra space for the hall of fame museum, which features a growing collection of Maritime motorsports memorabilia.

The organization, which formed the hall of fame in 2005, received an anonymous donation of $40,000 to begin the fundraising efforts with a goal of raising $110,000. Donations can be made online at www.mmhf.ca.

The expansion is expected to be completed by November 2023.
