Cape Breton runners take Boston Marathon virtual

Although the 124th Boston Marathon was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that didn’t stop four Cape Breton runners hitting the road running. SYDNEY, N.S. — Although the 124th Boston Marathon was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that didn’t stop four Cape Breton runners hitting the road running.

Steve Grace, Linda Miles, Laura Miles-Doucette and Donna Burns ran the Boston Marathon virtually, completing the 42.2-kilometre run in Cape Breton. The finish times were not available.
