Bedford's Nate Darling is moving up to the NBA.
The Charlotte Hornets recalled the 22-year-old shooting guard from their NBA G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm, on Monday.
This is Darling's first professional season after he wrapped up his NCAA career at the University of Delaware last spring. He signed a two-way contract with the Hornets in November.

Darling has a chance to become the first-ever Nova Scotian to appear in an NBA regular season game. He got some minutes in the pre-season with the Hornets before being assigned to the G League bubble.
Darling is coming off a 16-point game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Saturday. He averaged 8.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 13 games in Greensboro.
