CHARLOTTETOWN – The Charlottetown Rural Raiders and Bluefield Bobcats took home the P.E.I. School Athletic Association senior soccer championship banners at UPEI on Saturday.
The Bobcats edged the Colonel Gray Colonels 2-1 in penalty kicks in the day’s final game that decided the AAA boys’ champion.
Connor Reardon of the Bobcats and Gray’s Brett Curley exchanged goals in regulation time. Bluefield outscored Gray 3-2 in penalty kicks, with winning keeper Isaac Wolters making three saves.
Bluefield led 1-0 at halftime.

Senior AAA girls
In senior AAA girls, Emily Cormier and Maddie Hurley each scored twice while Katelyn Doyle added a single marker as the Raiders blanked Colonel Gray in an all-Charlottetown final.
The Raiders took control in the first half, and took a 4-0 advantage into the break.
Hailey Terstege earned the shutout.

Senior A boys
In the senior A boys’ final, Dawson Hughes scored in each half to lead the Raiders past the Colonels 2-0.
Mahmoud Moustafa registered the clean sheet.
