SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A quick start keyed the Summerside United’s victory over the Winsloe/Charlottetown Royals at Eric Johnston Field on Thursday night.
The final score of the Subway P.E.I. Under-15 Girls Soccer League (Premier Division) contest was 3-0.
Amelia Murphy opened the scoring one minute into the contest, and Jill Lockerby’s goal in the 26th minute sent the United into the break up 2-0. Gracie Gallant closed out the game’s scoring in the 59th minute.
Madelyn MacPherson recorded the shutout.
