CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The P.E.I. F.C. under-15 soccer teams had a perfect start to their Nova Scotia soccer league schedule.

The girls defeated Cape Breton 6-1 on Saturday and 3-0 on Sunday.

Reese Kelly and Grace McQuaid each scored twice on Saturday while Megan Kinch and Emma Langley had singles.

McQuaid, Kinch and Ria Johnston scored on Sunday with Taylor Campbell earning the shutout.

P.E.I. F.C.’s boys team swept Valley United 3-0 on Saturday and 4-0 on Sunday.

Sam Akinsola, Nic Dakota and Isaac Bourque scored in the opener with Luke Clark recording the clean sheet.

Akinsola scored two more on Sunday with singles to Bouquet and Lucan LeClairemont. Nolan Barry had the shutout.
