Weather impacts PEISAA intermediate soccer schedule Thursday

SUMMERSIDE – Mother Nature forced the postponement of five P.E.I. School Athletic Association intermediate soccer medal games in Summerside on Thursday.

The games, which were called off due to snow and field conditions, have been rescheduled for the Prince County city on Monday.
The games scheduled for Stonepark in Charlottetown went ahead as scheduled on Thursday, as did the intermediate AA field hockey medal games at Eric Johnston Field in Summerside.
Following is Monday’s revised schedule:
At Eric Johnston Field:
2 p.m. – AA girls’ gold: Kensington vs. Summerside Intermediate School (SIS).
At SIS:
2 p.m. – AA boys’ bronze: Hernewood vs. SIS.
4 p.m. – A boys’ bronze: Evangeline vs. M.E. Callaghan.
At Three Oaks:
4 p.m. – A girls’ gold: Souris vs. Hernewood.
At Athena:
4 p.m. – A girls’ bronze: Morell vs. Athena.
