FREDERICTON, N.B. – Ibrahima Doumbouya had 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and a steal to pace the UNB Varsity Reds to a 90-64 victory over the UPEI Panthers Saturday in Atlantic University Sport men’s basketball action.
The game was worth four points in the standings as the conference uses an unbalanced schedule. UPEI finished the 2018 portion of the schedule 3-4 while UNB is 5-2.
Jesse Kendall also had 19 points for the Reds.
Samuel Campbell had 18 points to lead the Panthers while Amin Suleman chipped in 11 off the bench.
