CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Jade Stewart and Luke Robison are this week’s Holland College Hurricanes athletes of the week.
Stewart, a second-year midfielder from Warwick, Bermuda, captained the Hurricanes women’s soccer team to victories over the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics and University of King’s College Blue Devils to open the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) regular season.

Stewart picked up an assist Saturday against the Mystics and had a shot Sunday against King’s.

Stewart, who was also announced as the ACAA female athlete of the week, studies in the sport and leisure management program.

Robison, a second-year pitcher/outfielder from Riverview, N.B., led the ‘Canes to a 4-0 start to their Atlantic Collegiate Baseball Association (ACBA) regular season with two wins each over the Dalhousie Tigers and UNB Reds.

Robison went 8-for-15 with seven singles and a triple. He drove in seven runs and scored five.  The business administration student pitched one inning of relief, striking out and walking one.
