Smith earns silver medal in U Sports 60 metre

WINNIPEG, Man. — Bailey Smith finished second at the U Sports women’s 60-metre run Thursday in Winnipeg.
The Ten Mile House native finished the race in 7.49 while Lethbridge’s Sandra Latrace won in 7.42. Smith finished second in her preliminary race with a 7.52 time to Latrace’s 7.4.
Smith finished ninth and seventh in her previous two trips to nationals.
