FAIRVIEW, P.E.I. — Rounds of 76 won both the senior and super senior divisions Tuesday on the Experience Hyundai Prince Edward Island Golf Association Senior Men’s Tour stop at Countryview Golf Club.
It was the first tour stop of the season.
Malcolm Reid and Marty Koughan both shot 76 to win the senior division by two shots over Wade Gauthier, Fraser MacPhee and Gary Moore. Tony Perry, Donnie Brown and Kent Murray tied for sixth after firing rounds of 79.
Lowell Kurylyk shot 76 to win the super senior division by three strokes over Roger Perreaux, George Stewart, Kennie MacWilliams, Ken Gunn and Jamie Lund.
The closet to the Hole winners were Gerard MacNeil (senior division) and Ken Gunn (super senior division).
The next senior men’s golf event is Tuesday at the Glasgow Hills Golf Club starting at 10:30 a.m. Anyone 55 and older who wishes to play on the tour or would like more information can contact [email protected].
