CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The UPEI Panthers women’s rugby team practised Monday.

The squad defeated the Saint Mary’s Huskies 29-12 and UNB 58-7 in exhibition action on Aug. 30 and 31, respectively. The Panthers open the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) regular season against Acadia in Wolfville, N.S., Saturday at 2 p.m. Saint Mary’s and St. FX are the other teams in the four-team AUS.
