CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — SoccerStop P.E.I. F.C. is into the win column.

The Island squad defeated C.S. Dieppe 5-0 Sunday to improve to 1-1 in the McCain New Brunswick Premier Soccer League.

Jared Murphy and Ibra Sanoh each scored twice while Sam Smiley counted one off of a penalty. Brandon Eagle recorded the clean sheet.

P.E.I. F.C. led 2-0 at the half.

The Island squad hits the road Saturday for a 4 p.m. game at the Fredericton Reds.
