JAMES RIVER, N.S. – Riverside International Speedway is set for its season finale Saturday and Island driver Dylan Gosbee shoots for traction in the championship points race when the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Lucas Oil 150 lands near the Antigonish, N.S., racetrack.

Cornwall’s Gosbee is fifth in the standings with 1,958 points, 141 behind leader Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake, N.S.), who tops the list with 2,099, and looking to improve with just Saturday and next week’s season-ending Dartmouth Dodge 200 near Halifax remaining.

Butcher owns a 92-point advantage over Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, N.S.) and Shawn Turple (Enfield, N.S.), who are tied for second (2,007). Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, N.S.) sits fourth (1995).

If Butcher leaves Riverside with a 70-plus point lead over second place, he only needs to start the Dartmouth Dodge 200 to earn his second title. Butcher has four wins on the Tour this season but has yet to win at Riverside.

Also, on tap Saturday, the Napa Sportsman Series and the MJS/Prime Lift East Coast Mini Stock Tour crown their respective champions.
