Canada’s Brooke Henderson just keeps on winning. The 21-year-old golfer took home the 2019 ESPY award for Best Female Golfer on Wednesday.
“Extremely honoured to receive Best Female Golfer at the #ESPYS!! So cool!” Henderson posted on Twitter.
Last month, Henderson became the winningest Canadian on either the LPGA or PGA Tours when she won her ninth title at the Meijer LPGA Classic in Michigan. Henderson has two wins and seven top 10s through 15 events this season, and sits second in the Race to CME Globe season-long points race.

Last year at the CP Women’s Open in Regina, Henderson became the first Canadian to win our national open since Jocelyne Bourassa in 1973. Henderson will defend her title next month at Magna Golf Club in Aurora, Ontario.
Brooks Koepka won the award for Best Male Golfer.
