CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The UPEI Panthers split a pair of Atlantic University Sport (AUS) soccer games against the visiting Memorial Sea-Hawks on Saturday afternoon.

The UPEI men posted a 3-0 victory while the women’s Panthers suffered a 3-1 setback.
Both UPEI teams return to action on Sunday as Moncton travels to Charlottetown. The women’s game begins at 1 p.m., followed by the men’s contest at 3:15 p.m.

Men
Mohammad Jabour scored in the 38th minute to open the scoring and send the Panthers into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
Donovan Wyand (51st minute) and Ignacio Sanchez (77th minute) added insurance markers in the second half.
Brett Strba recorded the clean sheet as the Panthers improved to 2-3-0 (won-lost-tied). Memorial fell to 0-3-2.

Women
Goals by Nicole Torraville (27th minute) and Kate Hickey (31st minute) staked Memorial to a 2-0 lead at the break.
Caitlyn McClosky brought UPEI to within one goal in the 75th minute, but Holly O’Neill scored in the 90th minute to put the game out of reach and help Memorial improve to 3-1-1.
Winning keeper was Sydney Walsh.
The Panthers enter Sunday’s play 0-5-0.
