ALBERTON, P.E.I. — Nylan Hustler earned the shutout and an assist Saturday as the Western Regals blanked the Pownal Taco Boyz Red Devils 6-0 in Prince Edward Island Midget AAA Hockey League action.
Kalim DesRoches and Michael McRae each had a goal and an assist for the Regals at the Jacques Cartier Arena in Alberton while Ethan Reilly, Colby Baker, Cole Hemphill and Brett Ballum also scored.
Sam Hackett, Carson Wood, Cody McCormick and Jack Reilly each had a helper.
Logan Birt took the loss.
After a scoreless first period, Western took a 3-0 lead to the third. Pownal was 0-for-6 on the power play while Western did not have a chance with the man advantage as the Red Devils didn't take a penalty.
The Regals improved to 8-6-2 while the Red Devils are 7-7-1.
