CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Nick Steele’s second goal of the game at 2:22 of overtime lifted the Hynes Paving Maniacs to a 4-3 win over the Sherwood-Parkdale A&S Scrap Metal Metros on Wednesday night.

The Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown was the site of the Island Junior Hockey League game.
The Metros led 2-0 after the first period, but the Maniacs answered back to tie the game 2-2 before the end of the second period.
Andrew Campbell (1-2) and Ty Peardon netted the other goals for the Montague-based Maniacs, who improved to 6-18-1 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Cale Pierce, Nick Currie and Grant MacAdam countered for the Metros (11-11-2).
Winning goaltender Cam Duffy turned aside 42 of 45 shots while the Metros’ Matt Jelley stopped 31 of 35 shots.
