Cornwall’s Jordan Spence was named to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s team of the week.

The 18-year-old defenceman had three assists in three games last week and has 20 points in 23 games this season. The former Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capital was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the fourth round of the NHL draft.

Rounding out the team were forwards Halifax’s Maxim Trepanier, Moncton’s Alexander Khovanov and Cape Breton’s Egor Sokolov, Chicoutimi’s defenceman Artemi Kniazev and Halifax goalie Alexis Gravel.
