SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The P.E.I. School Athletic Association is about to crown its 2019 soccer champions.
The gold-medal games in every intermediate and senior division will be played as part of “Championship Saturday” at the Terry Fox Sports Complex in Cornwall. The bronze-medal games will take place at the same location on Friday.
Here’s a look at the senior finals and how the teams got there:
Senior AAA girls
The Three Oaks Axewomen will take on the Charlottetown Rural Raiders at 1 p.m.
Three Oaks advanced with a 4-0 home-field victory over the Bluefield Bobcats in the semifinals on Wednesday. The Raiders punched their ticket to the final with a 1-0 victory over the Colonel Gray Colonels in the other semifinal.
Senior AAA boys
It will be the Colonel Gray Colonels facing the Bluefield Bobcats in the final game of the 2019 season at 3 p.m.
Gray edged visiting Charlottetown Rural 1-0 while Bluefield pulled out a 1-0 road decision over the Westisle Wolverines in Wednesday’s semifinals.
Senior A girls
The championship game will feature KISHORA and Montague meeting for all the marbles at 9 a.m..
In Wednesday’s semifinals, KISHORA shut out Souris 4-0 while Montague outscored Charlottetown Rural Team Two 3-1.
Senior A boys
Montague and Charlottetown Rural Team Two will decide the senior A boys’ champion. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
Rural edged Morell 1-0 and Montague topped Souris 4-1 in Wednesday’s semifinals.

3:15 p.m. – Intermediate AA boys: Kensington vs. East Wiltshire.
