CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Hunter’s Ale House Mudmen wrap up the regular season Saturday on their home field by hosting an arch-rival in a game that means nothing in the standings, but a lot for both teams.
The Halifax Tars (9-0) have already sewn up first place in the Rugby Nova Scotia first division while the Mudmen (7-2) are comfortably in second. There’s a lot of pride on the line today as the teams have done battle numerous times for league titles in recent years.
Game time is 1 p.m. today at Co-op Field with the UPEI club team playing UNB following the Mudmen-Tars contest.
The Mudmen will host a semifinal next weekend.
