CRAPAUD, P.E.I. — Noah Wolfe scored twice, including the winner, Sunday as the Mid-Isle Matrix doubled the Central Attack 4-2 in P.E.I. Major Under-15 AAA Hockey League action.
Michael Arsenault also tallied twice in the victory as Mid-Isle started the season with a victory at the South Shore Actiplex. Matthew McDonald had three assists while Wolfe and Arsenault both contributed one.
Easton Fitzpatrick had a goal and an assist for Central while Patrick McMonagle tallied the other marker for the visitors.
Evan Weeks stopped 17 shots for the victory while Ethan Clark faced 36 shots in the loss.
Mid-Isle, which held 1-0 and 4-1 period leads, went 1-for-7 on the power play while Central was 1-for-5. The Attack is 0-3-0-0 on the season.
