CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Summerside’s Jeremy McKenna had a goal and two assists to pace the Moncton Wildcats to a 4-0 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders Sunday at the Eastlink Centre.

Alexander Khovanov had a goal and an assist while Mika Cyr and Kyle Foreman rounded out the scoring. Zachary L’Heureux had two assists.

Olivier Rodrigue stopped 18 shots for his second shutout of the season while Matthew Welsh turned aside 40 shots in the loss.

The Maritimes Division-leading Wildcats improved to 32-12-0-0 while the Islanders dropped to 24-20-5-0. The Shawinigan Cataractes visit the Eastlink Centre Thursday at 7 p.m.
