CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Basketball players Kassandra Little and Bryce Corless are the Holland College Hurricanes athletes of the week.
Little, a fourth-year forward from Stratford, had strong games against the St. Thomas (STU) Tommies and Crandall Chargers.
Little had nine rebounds, two steals, two assists and a block to go with nine points Sunday in a 59-57 loss to the top-ranked Tommies in Fredericton, N.B.
She had nine points, six rebounds, one steal and one assist in Monday’s 77-53 victory over the Chargers in Moncton.

Corless, a second-year guard from Quispamsis, N.B., 27 points, three blocks, one assist and four rebounds in Monday’s 81-70 win at Crandall. The business administration student had four points, two assists and seven rebounds in Sunday’s 85-76 loss to the Tommies.
